Installation
When you ordered SpyGlass, you received an e-mail with installation
instructions. Follow those instructions to download the program.
After installing the program, you can access SpyGlass several ways:
- The installation program automatically adds SpyGlass to the Custom
Toolbar in MetaStock and to the Tools drop-down menu.
- The installation program adds a menu item to your Windows menu that allows
you to launch the program. Go to Start|Programs|DeBry|SpyGlass.
- SpyGlass can be launched by using Windows Explorer to navigate to the
folder where you installed it and running from there.
The installation program installs these components:
- SPYGLASS.EXE - The program that does the calculations.
- MSFL70.DLL - A support DLL that allows SpyGlass to read MetaStock files.
- DEBRY.DLL, MSST.DLL, BROAD MARKET.DLL, ERSA.DLL, VALUSHARK.DLL, and
FOLDER AVERAGE.DLL - Support formulas that are imported into MetaStock.
The DLL files are installed into the "External Function DLLS" folder
below your MetaStock folder.
Troubleshooting
If you receive the error "An error occurred during the move data process: -113",
make sure that no other applications, especially Outlook, are running before
installing the program.
